Here's why New Albany Co. chose Marysville for its 1,200-acre expansion
The New Albany Company has acquired 1,200 acres in Marysville, Ohio, to develop two major business parks—Marysville East and Marysville South—designed to attract advanced manufacturers, tech companies, data centers and biopharmaceutical firms. The company cited Marysville’s proactive leadership and zoning flexibility as key factors in selecting the site. A new planned unit development (PUD) zoning approach was created to accommodate innovation-focused projects and future infrastructure needs.
Development agreements with the city include plans for new roads, utility extensions, and a community authority to support long-term infrastructure funding. These investments align with the region’s growing role in advanced manufacturing and digital innovation.
